History

When we say that we’ve created a family-based gymnastics club, we mean it! At Corona Gymnastics, a number of our gymnasts are now the third generation in their family to be attending our club. Our warm and welcoming community truly does foster a lifelong love of gymnastics. In fact, 80% of our coaching staff started here as preschool gymnasts! No other Ottawa Gymnastics club can say that.

The passion and lifelong dedication of our coaches means that your child can count on the continuity of our staff from year-to-year. Moreover, our coaches are highly trained and receive ongoing professional development so that we can best serve the thriving Ottawa gymnastics community. We strive to maintain leading-edge coaching standards, gymnastics equipment standards, and operational best practices in order to make sure Corona Gymnastics is the best gymnastics club for you.

Today, after many years of operation, Corona Gymnastics serves over 2,000 members in Ottawa with a talented coaching staff of 65 professionals.

Ultimately, our history is founded on developing complete gymnasts with healthy bodies and minds, who feel supported in their pursuit to expand their potential. It has been through this vision of excellence, that we’ve built Corona Gymnastics into one of Canada’s finest and largest gymnastics clubs.

On the National stage, Corona Gymnastics has been proud to be a part of hosting two Canadian National Gymnastics Championships, here in Ottawa. Thanks to our skilled and committed coaching staff, our individual and team athletes have also been able to compete and medal at Regional, Provincial, and National competitions, for decades. Furthermore, numerous Corona Gymnastics athletes have gone on to receive partial or full NCAA level scholarships.

We couldn’t be more proud of the success our gymnasts have achieved, both as athletes and healthy citizens. Today, we remain involved in the lives of our graduates, and as part of our involvement we are proud to support the Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario, Breast Cancer research and the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation.
